I think i finally understanded the story: Maddie is trying to escape from
    ACTUAL CANNIBAL SHIA LEBEOUF.

This video was ridiculously powerful…. I’m certain that Sia always has
the best music videos – I love how open to interpretation it is too! It
seems like a lot of people got a lot of different messages from the video,
with all of them being important no doubt. Shia and Maddie were awesome in
this as well – if I’m perfectly honest, it’s been a while since I’ve seen
Shia give a performance like this! I love how more and more people are
starting to recognise his talent, and if he keeps doing stuff of this
caliber he’ll be on par with Daniel Day-Lewis. Looking forward to more big
roles for him to showcase his talent and maybe one day, an Oscar.

We live in a world where videos like “Anaconda” and “Wrecking Ball”are
    called “Art”…

…but Sia has to apologize for Contemporary Dance? We need to fix the
internet if people think that this is pedophilic! We live in a brain washed
    generation…

  • Anjum Jahan says:

How genius is this video though!

  • Pretty Unicorns says:

And I thought “Shrek is love, Shrek is life” was disturbing.

  • Caden Flynn says:

I don’t get why people are saying it’s inappropriate. It honestly one of
the most creative and beautiful things I’ve ever seen

  • Marian Lunar says:

Lovely song and video. I personally think that Sia is one of the best music
artists. Her voice is stunning and her videos are always so creative. She
    is such an inspiration !
*I’m trying to grow as an artist myself and it would be pretty cool if you
    could checkout my covers.*
*I would love to have your support.*
*If you don’t want to then thanks for reading. Have a nice day !*

  • MatTZI014 says:

This is so disgusting and inappropriate.

  • ymicnstarz0506 says:

Now I can be completely wrong. But I think that Shia and Maddie represent a
relationship between two people Maddie being a women that was broken as a
child and never really learned how to grow up and heal. Shia loves the
women she is and doesn’t want to let her go but just doesn’t know how to
approach her and every time he tries he gets bite. A broken women is like a
caged animal in many ways. That’s just my interpretation of it.

  • Lolubyle Sydney says:

What in the fucking fuck is going on here?

  • Patrick G says:

This is so beautiful. It’s my favorite song at the moment!!
I love it so much I made an instrumental piano cover of it on my channel
It would mean a lot to me if you could check it out :)
    *Give me a chance?*

The Meaning of Elastic Heart plays upon which one of the two is more
savage: the angered innocence of an animal (or a child) or the rage of the
angry man. Their skin-tone dirty clothing portrays them at the same level.
In the end, it’s the man who’s unable to escape into innocence, and the
child wondering why he can’t be free of his chains. While nature can be
savage, only man can be as savage as gladiator matches of Rome, or the
Hunger Games – the movie this song was originally written for.
    My Take:
The meaning of Elastic Heart goes both ways. First, Sia claims you did not
break me. On the other hand, she says I trust no one, I may snap, I can’t
survive. She’s fought, she’s beaten her ex (another one bites the dust),
but she still asks herself, why can I not conquer love. How will she find
love again if she makes herself impenetrable? Love means an open heart, not
a thick skin and an elastic heart. Like Katniss Everdeen in the movie,
fighting for peace doesn’t bring peace. Love is being open, not being
elastic. Peace isn’t beating the other person, it’s finding someone to
    share your heart with.

I feel it’s incredibly sad that as a society so many people immediately go
where they go with things like this. Why can’t two professionals perform a
piece without it being “pornography” (which by the way this is NOT) and
just be an innocent, raw, beautiful interpretation of a heavy topic?

    Potrei spezzarmi e muovermi veloce
    Ma non mi vedrai cedere
    Perché ho un cuore elastico

    Ho un cuore elastico,
    Sì, ho un cuore elastico

E resterò sveglia attraverso la notte
Siamo chiari, non chiuderò gli occhi
    E so che posso sopravvivere

    Potrei spezzarmi e muovermi veloce
    Ma non mi vedrai cedere
    Perché ho un cuore elastico
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh

    Potrei spezzarmi e muovermi veloce

    Potrei spezzarmi e muovermi veloce

    Potrei spezzarmi e muovermi veloce
    Ma non mi vedrai cedere
    Perché ho un cuore elastico

    Ho un cuore elastico.

I understand opinion, but the fact that people call this pedophelia to me
is discusting. Sia is writing songs about her life that confess the
problems that she had to overcome. The videos she makes are works of art
and they display perfectly the losses and problems in her life. The fact
she apologized for them is awful to me because they should be apologising
to her for insulting her beautiful work. Please dont hate, this is just my
opinion, not downing anyone with other opinions.

  • Bourel Misheel says:

What the heck did I just watch

  • Brad Lister says:

this is the closest thing to pedophilia then pedophilia it self. There is a
grown man touching all over a little girl with them both being almost
nude… This is so sickening to watch and too all of you morons who like
this video are just as sick… If this was any other situation this guy
would be going to prison for touching this little girl… It is pathetic
that people cant come up with good music videos anymore that they have to
go so shallow as this one in order to get any attention!!! Everything about
this sucks!!! The song, the singer, the dance and the dancers.. Especially
    Abby Lee’s little “princess”

  • Raquel Avila says:

People see here an art, but I just keep seeing a pedophile attacking a
twelve years old girl, she fights for her life, and at the end she gets rid
of him, but feels shame for him being in jail and tries to help him ,just
the feeling a girl would have for her own father in spite of being a victim
of him. The father at the end feels guilty or sad for what he’s done.

  • мιѕнα нαρρу ςαт says:

  • Aoki Lapis says:

I like the end of the beginning where the girl is trying to help the other
escape, however they can’t because the he’s an idiot XD

  • foghorn911 says:

Shameful and pathetic….using obvious pedophilic scenes to spark
controversy just to sell/get downloads. If this is art, then why dress the
12 year old in a skin color leotard, dancing/wrestling with a greasy,
bearded grown man in a loincloth bikini.. IN A CAGE ? Alas, I guess I’m
just un-cultured ! If this is art, then the next time I’m at a truck stop,
ill take a few pictures of the men’s toilet bowl ….because shit has now
become art ! …also Maddie Zieglers mother should be publicly SHAMED !
…looking forward to seeing Maddie a decade from now on “Where are they
now??” …….im betting the word “Crack” or “meth” arrest(s) will be
mentioned more then once…..flame away…..also….Sia blows apes !

  • Paola Viola says:

    Buona sera a tutti !

  • Jaiden Powell says:

If the genders was switched, it would be a whole different story. Don’t you
    agree?

  • bubbalove says:

    This should be illegal
